As a distributor of hazardous substances, we pay extra attention to health, safety and the environment. Naturally, we know and follow the regulations regarding the safe storage and transport of chemicals.
Information about the dangers of chemistry
according to REACH and CLP
REACH is a European Union regulation on the production and trade of chemicals, which aims to protect human health and the environment from the risks that chemicals can pose. From our QHSE department we ensure that we comply with all regulations. For example, we supply Safety Data Sheets for classified products and we ensure correct labeling of products in accordance with the CLP regulation. By means of uniform classification and labelling, this regulation ensures that users are informed about the dangers of chemical substances.
Ensuring safe storage
And transport of hazardous substances
At Mavom we ensure safe storage of hazardous substances. Our warehouse is equipped with a permanently installed fire extinguishing system and we follow the Dutch PGS-15 guideline for the storage of packaged hazardous substances. For the transport of these substances, we work together with certified carriers who meet all the requirements of the European ADR agreement.
